Upućujemo sve zainteresirane na znanstveni časopis “Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences” (MJSS) koji objavljuje radove iz društvenih i humanističkih znanosti. Dosad su objavljeni brojevi 1 i 2 za 2017. godinu, a upućeni su pozivi za slanje radova za prvi i drugi broj časopisa u 2018. godini.

Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences (MJSS) is a scientific journal which publishes results of research in the field of social sciences and humanities. MJSS encourages historical research and comparative approaches of international relations, political economy and geo-political/geo-strategic views on the Montenegro and Southeastern Europe. Additionally MJSS constructs an academic forum to bring together disparate scholarly perspectives and publishes research on the fields of history, geopolitics, political science, sociology, law, economics, demographics and other multidisciplinary areas. Journal will be providing scientific support to all social and humanistic research in the area of Montenegro and Southeastern Europe, including comparative analyses and theoretical issues with implications for other world areas.
The journal publishes the following categories article: original scientific paper, review, presentation at the scientific conference. Besides the the mentioned categories, the journal publishes reviews on books, notes and reviews of particular events and phenomena. The Editorial board accepts manuscripts that are written in English or Montenegrin which have not been previously published. Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences supports an open access, which means that all of its contents are freely available without charging users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, upload, copy, distribute, print out, search, and share links to the full text of the articles or use them in any other legal way without requesting explicit permission from the author or publisher.

Center for Geopolitical Studies
The Center for Geopolitical Studies is a scientific and research institution established in late 2014 within Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro. The aim of the Center is the study of geopolitical and historical phenomenon of Montenegro but also expanding area of Southeastern Europe. Planned activities of The Center for Geopolitical Studies implemented through the organization of scientific research projects, its proper presentation, discussions and public lectures. The Center functions as a teaching and research institution and from 2017 within the Center has been organized and publishing activity. The Center for Geopolitics has appeared as a publisher of international scientific journal Montenegrin Journal for Social Science. Director of the Center for Geopolitical Studies is a full professor in the Department of History Prof. Dr Zivko Andrijasevic.

Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences (MJSS) je naučni časopis koji objavljuje rezultate istraživanja iz oblasti društvenih i humanističkih nauka. MJSS kroz svoje aktivnost ohrabrivaće istorijska istraživanja i komparativan pristup proučavanju međunarodnih odnosa, političke ekonomije, geopolitičkih i geostrateških pogleda na Crnu Goru i Jugoistočnu Evropu. Osim toga MJSS će biti akademski forum za okupljanje različitih naučnih pogleda i mjesto za objavljivanje istraživanja iz oblasti Istorije, Geopolitike, Političkih nauka, Sociologije, Prava, Ekonomije, Demografije i drugih multidisciplinarnih područja. Časopis će biti naučna podrška svim društvenim i humanističkim istraživanjima na prostoru Crne Gore i Jugoistočne Evrope, uključujući i komparativne analize i teorijska pitanja sa implikacijama na ostala svjetska područja.
Časopis objavljuje sledeće kategorije članaka: izvorni naučni članak, pregledni rad, izlaganje sa naučnog skupa. Osim navedenih kategorija, časopis objavljuje recenzije i prikaze knjiga, bilješke i osvrte na određene događaje i pojave. Uredništvo prihvata rukopise koji su napisani na engleskom ili crnogorskom jeziku koji nisu prethodno objavljivani. Montenegrin Journal for Social Science podržava politiku otvorenosti, što znači da su svi sadržaji časopisa slobodni i dostupni bez naplate korisnicima ili njihovim institucijama. Korisnicima je omogućeno da čitaju, kopiraju, distribuiraju ili pretražuju dijelove ili puni tekst članaka i da ih koriste na bilo koji drugi zakonit način bez traženja eksplicitne dozvole autora ili izdavača. Montenegrin Journal for Social Sciences (COBISS.CG-ID 32743952), izlazi dva puta godišnje u štampanom (ISSN 2536-5592) i elektronskom izdanju (ISSN 2536-5606).

CENTAR ZA GEOPOLITIKU
Centar za Geopolitiku je naučno-istraživačka ustanova osnovana krajem 2014. godine u okviru Filozofskog fakulteta, Univerziteta Crne Gore. Cilj Centra je izučavanje geopolitičkih i istorijskih fenomena Crne Gore ali i šireg prostora Jugoistočne Evrope. Planirane aktivnosti Centar za Geopolitiku sprovodi kroz organizovanje naučno-istraživačkih projekata, njihovu prezentaciju, diskusije i javna predavanja. Centar funkcioniše kao nastavna i naučno-istraživačka institucija a od 2017. godine u okviru Centra organizovana je i izdavačka djelatnost. Centar za Geopolitiku pojavio se kao izdavač međunarodnog naučnog časopisa Montenegrin Journal for Social Science. Direktor Centra za Geopolitiku je redovni profesor na katedri za Istoriju Prof. Dr Živko Andrijašević.
