Natječaj za objavu radova četrnaestog (14.) broja časopisa “Pro tempore” za akademsku godinu 2018./19.

Redakcija studentskog časopisa za povijest i srodne društveno-humanističke znanosti “Pro tempore” raspisuje natječaj za objavu radova za novi 14. broj časopisa 2018./19. na temu „Godine prekretnice i povijesne kontroverze“.

Pro tempore je časopis studenata povijesti Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, ali je od 2004. godine, kada je objavljen prvi broj, uključivao i radove profesora s Odsjeka za povijest Filozofskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu te poticao interdisciplinarnost objavom članaka iz srodnih društveno-humanističkih znanosti. Stoga se tijekom godina ostvarila i regionalna i međunarodna suradnja sa studentima i udrugama hrvatskih i europskih Sveučilišta, čiji su članci obogatili dotadašnja saznanja o određenim temama te pridonijeli upoznavaju studenata s novim trendovima u historiografiji. U skladu s tradicijom, novi broj časopisa poziva sve studente preddiplomskog, diplomskog i doktorskog studija povijesti i  srodnih društveno-humanističkih znanosti iz Hrvatske i inozemstva, da se odazovu na poziv i pošalju svoje radove.

U ovom broju primarno će se objavljivati radovi na temu „Godine prekretnice i povijesne kontroverze“ koja pokriva sva povijesna razdoblja, različite poddiscipline,  uključujući i radove koji problematiziraju nastavu povijesti što omogućuje raznolikost teorijsko-metodoloških i istraživačkih pristupa, ovisno o znanstvenom području. Tema se ponajprije odnosi na mnogobrojne obljetnice u 2018. ili 2019. godini (poput „Proljeća naroda“ 1848., Rezolucije Informbiroa 1948., studentskih prosvjeda 1968. itd.), ali i na mnoge druge događaje koji su obilježili i promijenili povijest. Poseban temat unutar časopisa bit će posvećen stogodišnjici osnivanja Kraljevine SHS.

Osim godina prekretnica, radovi se mogu ticati raznih povijesnih kontroverzi – od događaja oko kojih postoje rasprave među povjesničarima i stručnjacima (poput Višeslavove krstionice, kralja Tomislava i sl.), do tema oko kojih postoje određena neslaganja i sukobi u javnosti (najčešće vezanih za teme Drugog svjetskog i Domovinskog rata) te se također mogu baviti nekom od obljetnica.

Istovremeno, kao dio glavne teme također ističemo podtemu historiografije i književnosti. Na taj način časopisu želimo pružiti dimenziju interdisciplinarnosti i teorijskog promišljanja međuodnosa povijesti i jezika kroz, na primjer, mnoge memoarske zapise.

Važno je naglasiti kako će se zaprimati radovi koji na razne načine obrađuju temu 14. broja, kako političke i ekonomske tako i kulturne, intelektualne, rodne, antropološke itd. Na taj način se želi ukazati na nove trendove u historiografiji i potaknuti studente na drugačiji pogled pri bavljenju ovim temama. Redakcija Pro tempore primat će sve vrste znanstvenih radova te prikaze, prijevode, intervjue i izvještaje/osvrte o znanstvenim skupovima/simpozijima i slično, a radovi mogu imati najviše dva autora. Svi pristigli radovi najprije prolaze proces selekcije i kritičke obrade od strane Uredništva te se nakon toga prosljeđuju profesorima na recenziju, nakon čega će autori dobiti obavijest je li njihov rad prihvaćen.

Zaprimaju se samo neobjavljeni radovi te slanjem radova autor/ica potvrđuje da se radi o njihovom vlastitom radu za koji prihvaćaju znanstvenu i etičku odgovornost. Svi radovi šalju se u formatu Microsoft Word dokumenta (.doc ili .docx) elektroničkom poštom na adresu Uredništva: pt.uredništvo@gmail.com najkasnije do  01. prosinca 2018. godine.

Radovi se zaprimaju na hrvatskom, engleskom ili srodnim jezicima (srpskom, bosanskom, crnogorskom) na latinici. Radovi mogu biti opsega do maksimalno 30-35 kartica teksta. Ime i prezime autora/ice, godina, smjer studija i sveučilište koje pohađaju, navode se na prvoj stranici rada u gornjem lijevom kutu. Svaki rad treba sadržavati sažetak od cca. 100 riječi, ključne riječi te znanstvene bilješke napisane po određenim pravilima – pišu se na dnu stranice prema pravilima Chicago stila, numeričkim slijedom, odvojene razdjelnikom od glavnog teksta, font Times New Roman veličine 10, jednostrukog proreda te tekst poravnat do rubnika. Na kraju rada obvezna je bibliografija, također prema pravilima Chicago stila citiranja. Nužno je da radovi budu primarno vezani uz glavnu temu broja, ali tolerirat će se i manji broj radova koji se na nju direktno ne referiraju.

A CALL FOR PAPERS FOR THE 14TH ISSUE OF THE JOURNAL

PRO TEMPORE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018/19

The editorial board of the student journal of history and corresponding social sciences Pro tempore is issuing a call for the publication of papers for the new 14th issue of the journal 2018/19 on the subject of “The Years of Milestones and Historical Controversies”.

Pro tempore is a journal created by students of History at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Zagreb University, but from its start in 2004, when the first issue was published, the journal welcomed numerous contributions by Department of History Professors and encouraged interdisciplinarity by publishing articles connected to corresponding humanities and social sciences. Over the years regional and international cooperation has been accomplished with various Croatian and European Universities’ students and student associations whose articles have added to previous knowledge of certain topics and contributed to familiarizing students with the new trends in historiography. In accordance with its tradition, the new number of the journal invites all students of BA, graduate or post-graduate programme of History and corresponding studies in humanities and social sciences, from Croatia or abroad, to submit their papers.

This issue will primarily publish papers on the subject of “The Years of Milestones and Historical Controversies” which covers all historical periods and various subdisciplines, including papers that will question history teaching, thus allowing for methodological diversity and scientific approach, with regard to different fields of research. The subject is primarily related to many anniversaries in 2018 or 2019 (such as the 1848 Spring of Nations, the Cominform Resolution of 1948, student protests of 1968, etc.) as well as many other events that marked and changed history. A special subject of this issue will be the centennial of the founding of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.

Except for years of milestones, the papers can also be related to various historical controversies – from events discussed by historians and experts (such as the baptistery of prince Višeslav, king Tomislav, etc.), to topics on which there are some public disagreements and conflicts (mostly topics related to World War II and the Homeland War). The papers can also cover one of the anniversaries.

As part of the main subject we also highlight the subtopic of historiography and literature. In this way the journal will have a dimension of interdisciplinarity and include theoretical reflection on the interrelationship between history and language, for example, through memoirs.

It is important to emphasize that we will accept papers which will address the subject of the 14th issue from various perspectives – political and economic as well as cultural, intellectual, gender, anthropological, etc. In this way we want to draw attention to the new trends in historiography and encourage students to explore a different perspective on these topics. The editorial board of Pro tempore will accept all types of scientific papers including reviews, translations, interviews and reports/reviews of scientific conferences/symposiums and other. The papers can have up to two authors. All submitted papers will first go through the selection process and critical evaluation by the journal’s editorial board and then they will be sent for proofreading to Department of History Professors after which the authors will be notified whether their paper is accepted.

Only previously unpublished papers will be accepted. By submitting the paper the author guarantees its authenticity and accepts any scientific and ethical responsibility. All papers are to be sent in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), via e-mail, to the editorial address: pt.uredništvo@gmail.com. The deadline for submission is December 1st 2018.

The papers can be in Croatian or related languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin) as well as in English. All papers must be written using the Latin alphabet. The papers should be up to 30-35 pages long. Name of the author, year, study programme and name of the University they attend should be provided in the upper left corner of the paper’s title page. All papers need to include an approximately 100-word summary, key words and scientific notes written according to certain rules – the notes must be written at the foot of each page according to the Chicago manual of style, arranged in a numerical order, separated from the main text and justified. The obligatory notes font is Times New Roman size 10 with 1,5 spacing. Bibliography must be listed at the end of the paper, formatted according to the Chicago manual of style. It is necessary that the papers are in close connection to the issue’s main subject, however, a smaller number of papers not directly related to the subject will be taken into consideration as well.
